As part of the « Je sème à tout vent » (« I sow in any wind ») programme, proposed by David Rosenberg, L’Inlassable Galerie presents Mandrosagora.
nf. From the Sanskrit « mandros », sleep and « agora », the substance, the mandrake is a perennial plant from the countries around the Mediterranean, close to the belladonna, whose flower, rich in alkaloids, is directly hallucinogenic. Whether through psychotropic experiments, psychedelic hallucinations or iconographic reflections, six artists question their relationship to delirium and its representation around the legendary figure of the mandrake flower.

Du sanscrit “mandros », sommeil et “agora”, la substance, la mandragore est une plante vivace des pays du pourtour méditerranéen voisine de la belladone dont la fleur, riche en alcaloides, est forctement hallucinogène. Expérimentations psychotropes, hallucinations psychédéliques ou réflexions iconographiques, six artistes questionnent leur rapport au délirium et à sa représentation autour de la figure légendaire de la fleur de mandragore.
