Cyrielle Gulacsy was born in the Paris region in 1994. She lives and works in Paris. Her work has been shown in galleries in France and the United States, at contemporary art fairs and in private collections.
Self-taught, Cyrielle began drawing and painting as soon as she finished her studies in 2016. Initially driven by a quest for realism, her work evolves under the influence of modern physics, towards the representation of an imperceptible reality, on the order of abstraction, concealing the invisible laws of nature. Space-time, electromagnetism and the diffraction of light are all areas of research and experimentation that enable the artist to explore new representations of reality. In her work, the artist explores our perception of light through space and time, and reveals the matter of which it is composed. Her “atomistic” approach to pointillism stems from a desire to get closer to the quintessence of things, and to account for infinite quantities that are difficult to conceive. Each point, whether the measure of a particle or a celestial object, gives shape to an inaccessible reality, offering an intimate yet dizzying point of view of the world around us. Space becomes almost palpable, and the invisible takes shape, bringing us closer to the essence of nature.

Cyrielle Gulacsy est née en région Parisienne en 1994. Elle vit et travaille à Paris. Ses œuvres ont été présentées en galerie en France et aux Etats-Unis, dans des foires de dessin contemporain et font partie de collections privées.
Autodidacte, Cyrielle se consacre au dessin et à la peinture dès la fin de ses études en 2016. D’abord animé par une quête de réalisme, son travail évolue sous l’influence de la physique moderne, vers la représentation d’un réel imperceptible, de l’ordre de l’abstraction, recelant les lois invisibles de la nature. L’espace-temps, l’électromagnétisme ou encore la diffraction de la lumière sont autant de champs de recherches et d’expérimentations qui permettent à l’artiste d’explorer de nouvelles représentations de la réalité. Dans son travail l’artiste explore notre perception de la lumière à travers l’espace et le temps et nous dévoile la matière qui la compose. Son approche « atomiste » du pointillisme résulte d’une volonté de se rapprocher de la quintessence des choses et de rendre compte de quantités infinies difficile a concevoir. Chaque point, qu’il soit la mesure d’une particule ou d’un objet céleste, donne corps à une réalité inaccessible et offre un point de vue à la fois intime et vertigineux du monde qui nous entoure. L’espace devient presque palpable, et l’invisible en prenant forme nous rapproche de l’essence de la nature.
